The Friends of Dawlish Air Show scheme was launched in November 2009 as a way to raise additional funds to pay for the town’s annual ‘free’ air show, which costs in excess of £50,000 to put on.
Dawlish Air Show receives no official funding and relies on private and business sponsorship, fundraising events, donations and programme sales for its funding.
All the monies raised from the FODAS scheme are spent directly on the forthcoming air show.
The scheme is now in its fifth year and is a vital part of the funding of the air show.
You can become a member of the FODAS scheme for a minimum donation of £10 per annum for individuals and £25 per annum for families.
Your 2015 membership includes:
• Your collectable enamel pin badge
• Your membership certificate
• Your individual membership number which will be entered into the draw for VIP tickets for next year’s event
• Advance notice of all Air Show events
The 2015 FODAS collectable enamel pin badge features the two Avro Lancasters from the 2014 show.
The draw for VIP tickets will take place prior to the show and the winners will be notified by email two weeks prior to the event. The winner will receive two VIP tickets to the Air Show reception / party. You will have an exceptional view of the displays and refreshments are provided.
